Absolutely! This machine does not use electricity. It is a standalone machine that uses external source oo boil the water.

We are looking to ship the Kavei MECH machines by late summer after our crowdfunding campaign closes In June, 2021.

10. How is temperature controlled when making espresso?
Our aim is to output our water in the optimal temperature range of 85-92 degree Celsius. Through our siphoning process from the boiling water reservoir (at 100 degree Celsius) down to the pre-heated water chamber, there will be a drop in temperature of approximately 10 degrees. From the water chamber to the point of extract, you expect a few additional degrees in temperature drop. At time of consumption of the espresso we anticipate the temperature to be in range of the ideal 85 degree Celsius.
